Dr. Amir Yavari
Dr. Amir Yavari is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and loves to be in the office providing care to children. When he is not in the office, he devotes his time to mentoring and educating future pediatric dentists as a faculty member at NYU Langone.
He prides himself on staying organized in both his personal and professional life, which allows him to focus on providing an optimal dental experience for his patients.
Dr. Maryam Maghsoudioo
Dr. Maryam Maghsoudloo received both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and her pediatric dentistry specialty certificate from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Maryam’s extensive training at BU has equipped her with the necessary skills to provide the utmost care to children of all ages. In addition, she gained substantial experience working with patients with special healthcare needs during her residency by working at Franciscan Children’s Hospital and BUMC. Dr. Maryam is committed to providing the highest quality of care to all her patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys making videos, reading bedtime stories for children, traveling, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Dr. Harry GolnazarianDr. Golnazarian received his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013. He then went on to complete four years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. While there, he served as a chief resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Golnazarian is passionate about providing outstanding oral surgery care. He is dedicated to providing each of his patients with an excellent experience. His practice is primarily focused on pre-prosthetic surgery and the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants, as well as the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Golnazarian places an emphasis on offering safe, in-office intravenous sedation to patients who might be anxious about undergoing oral surgery. He has a full permit-A license from the Massachusetts dental board to practice general anesthesia. He also has a certification in advanced cardiac life support.
Dr. Christopher Padhi
Dr. Christopher Padhi (“Dr. Chris”) grew up in Southern California, where he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He then moved to Manhattan to complete his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry. After he received his DDS, he completed his 2-year pediatric specialty at NYU Langone in Providence, Rhode Island.
During this training, Dr. Chris gained extensive experience working with children of all ages as well as patients with special healthcare needs. He is committed to ensuring both patients and parents have a positive experience when visiting the dentist. In his free time, Dr. Chris enjoys playing sports and exploring New England with his wife and two dogs.
Dr. Anna Lam
Dr. Anna Lam received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed her 2-year post-doctoral pediatric specialty at NYU Langone in Providence, RI. Her training focused on the comprehensive care of pediatric patients under general anesthesia, emergency dental treatment, and children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Anna is a Rhode Island Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities Training Fellow.
Dr. Anna has a passion for working with children and strives to instill an enjoyable and fun experience. She values creating lasting relationships with both kids and their families.
In her spare time, Dr. Anna loves running, hiking, and spending time with her Shiba Inu, Sheep.
Dr. Bhoomi Kotak
Dr. Bhoomi Kotak is a graduate of Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
After earning her DMD, Dr. Kotak went on to continue her education at Boston University, earning a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics.
An experienced and knowledgeable Orthodontist, Dr. Kotak emphasizes the importance of educating patients on their oral health and reviewing treatment options. She strives to provide the best care possible for each of her patients, and prioritizes honest, clear communication with patients and parents.
Dr. Kotak is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics. In her free time, Dr. Kotak enjoys exploring nature and spending time with family.
Dr. Farnaz Chehrazi
Farnaz Chehrazi is a dedicated pediatric dentist with a DMD from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, recognized with an OKU award for excellence. She’s an active member of ADA, MDS, and AAPD, deeply involved in community service.
Farnaz specializes in preventive pediatric treatments, employing advanced behavior management techniques and creating a kid-friendly office atmosphere. She actively participates in dental outreach programs and dental health education events, aiming to improve oral health in her community.
In her free time, Farnaz enjoys painting, biking, and spending time with family and friends at family-friendly events. Her mission is to provide accessible dental care to underserved children and families, positively impacting their oral health and overall well-being.
Dr. Lily Razavi
Lily Razavi is an accomplished orthodontist with a DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (2021) and an Orthodontic Certificate from Tufts (2023). She received the Dr. Suzanne Rothenberg Furman Award and is a member of OKU and the AAO.
Lily specializes in orthodontics, focusing on personalized treatment plans with clear goals. Patient comfort is her priority, achieved through open communication and education. She maintains a welcoming environment through positive interactions.
Beyond dentistry, Lily enjoys traveling, tennis, skiing, and learning new languages. Her dedication to patient care and transformative smiles defines her approach to orthodontics.
Dr. Rachel Porter
Rachel Porter is a dedicated pediatric dental resident with a D.M.D. from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine (2022) and a B.S. in Biology from Howard University. She received the Old North State Dental Society’s Community Commitment Award for her outstanding community service. As a member of dental associations like ADA, NDA, and AAPD, Rachel is well-established in her field.
Rachel’s patient-centered approach focuses on comfort and positive communication to reduce anxiety. She prioritizes patient education, utilizing the tell-show-do technique and staying up-to-date with pediatric dental research.
She’s an active member of the Boston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and conducts research on how social determinants of health affect children’s oral health.
Beyond dentistry, Rachel enjoys travel, hiking, fitness, and has a strong passion for diet and nutrition. Her dedication to service, especially for youth, drives her career in pediatric dentistry, allowing her to make a meaningful impact while pursuing her passions.
